We offer personalized sleep treatments that are based on one-on-one consultations with you and our professionals, so you’ll have an opportunity to let them know all of your concerns. Our team also comes from different backgrounds, so you’ll be able to receive truly comprehensive and all-encompassing care with a sleep dentist, sleep doctor, and licensed psychologist all looking over your unique case.
We’ve outlined a few of the many ways that our team is able to help improve your quality of life by addressing symptoms that have been impacting your sleep:
- Chronic fatigue. If you experience chronic fatigue and aren’t sure why, we recommend taking our online sleep assessment to help you determine whether you could benefit from a consultation with our team. We’ll review your information, recommend a visit, arrange a sleep study if it’s necessary, and from there we can help treat your symptoms.
- Moving forward after taking a sleep test. If you’ve already completed a sleep study and aren’t sure where to go from there, our team can help you pick up where you left off. We’ll analyze your results, make a diagnosis if there’s one to be made, and discuss all of your available treatment options with you.
- Looking for a CPAP alternative. Some of our patients are just tired of using their CPAP machines because the background noise makes it difficult to sleep or the mask keeps them from being able to get comfortable. Fortunately, our team offers a great alternative, called oral appliance therapy (OAT).

Sleep Testing
We offer two types of sleep tests at our practice, in-office and take-home. Both are highly effective at providing our specialists with the important data they need to diagnose a disorder, like analyzing sleep patterns and vitals. However, we typically recommend in-lab testing if you have an underlying medical condition that could be causing your symptoms or have a more complex case. If you’re experiencing milder symptoms, our take-home sleep test will be able to gather all of the necessary information we need in the comfort of your own home.

Oral Appliance Therapy
Oral appliance therapy (OAT) is a great solution for patients with obstructive sleep apnea who are looking for a quiet, non-intrusive alternative to their CPAP device. The appliance is customized to fit your mouth for optimal comfort and support, and it’s designed to gently shift your jaw in its ideal position to keep your airways open and prevent soft tissues from blocking them. Not only does this treatment method improve your quality of rest and minimize snoring, but it’s also excellent for traveling.

CPAP Machine Therapy
When people think about sleep apnea treatment, they’re most likely to imagine a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) device. The machine has a small face mask attached to it via a clear hose that you’ll wear throughout the night as you rest. It will push air through the mask into your airways to keep them clear of obstructed tissues. While this method is safe and effective, some patients—especially those who are light sleepers—aren’t a fan of the mask component or the fact that it creates a background noise that makes it more difficult to fall asleep.
Medication
Based on the type and severity of your sleep disorder, we may recommend taking certain medications to help you get a good night’s sleep. Our sleep doctors in Irving are able to write prescriptions to help minimize your symptoms to allow you to sleep through the entire night. We may recommend this in conjunction with OAT or CPAP therapy during the treatment planning phase of your evaluation.
Health & Wellness Coaching
Sleep disorders can be connected to other underlying issues that can’t be treated with CPAP or OAT treatments, like emotional issues and lifestyle habits. These can affect your rest at night and impede your ability to function as you need to throughout the day. Fortunately, our nurse practitioner and licensed sleep psychologist in Irving can help address these through personalized sessions involving nutrition and medication consultations and more.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
For patients who have difficulty achieving sufficient and quality sleep, our team can provide cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) to address the issue. This method utilizes various techniques to help restructure the way a person thinks as well as their feelings towards sleeping so that they can get the rest they need for a healthier and more productive life. Those who undergo CBT-I therapy typically experience higher-quality sleep and can reduce symptoms of both short- and long-term insomnia.
